After all the sights in Europe I started to want to lay my eyes on my family more than anything else so I headed back home to Texas for the holidays. We all headed down to one of our favorite places to spend some time together, the gorgeous Texas coast at Crystal Beach. Even though it was almost wiped out by Hurricane Ike just a couple of years back, It has come back more beautiful than ever. Here are a few photos I took when I woke up before sunrise one morning and went down to the little bridge that leads you over the reemerging dunes. You can see the thick mist laying over the ground like snow. Magical. Witness sunrise in December at the beach.
